Northstar Travel Media is the leading business information and marketing solution provider to the $300 billion U.S. travel, tourism and meetings industries. The project entailed an integration of a CMS for a complete redesign, along with upgrading the TravelAge West website. TravelAge West has been a trusted guide for the travel industry to connect travel professionals with information they need to sell travel products and experiences.
iMedia worked with Northstar Travel Media to integrate their CMS and create a brand new responsive website that launched on June 15
th. The high resolution imagery and responsive capabilities of the website will allow for optimal rendering on PC, tablet, and smartphone devices. With this new design, site visitors will notice a more organized, user friendly website with streamlined navigation. Additionally, the new in-depth destination coverage provides a wider hotel and cruise search, including 140,000 hotel properties and 18,000 cruise sailings.
The new Travel To Go blog is filled with travel stories and destination insights from vacation spots including Tahiti's Vanilla Island, a river cruise into the China Psyche and Dinosaurs Live in California. Another new addition is the GEO Quiz which is now available online. This is a popular feature in the TravelAge West magazine by Marc Mancini, and has been made digital so people can track their scores overtime.
