This will be the third award IMA has won for the Abrams Books Web site and the first for the Boston Ballet Web site.
The Boston Ballet site was built using the IMA Enterprise Performing Arts Framework, integrating three best-of-breed applications: the Ektron Content Management System (CMS), the Elastic Path eCommerce platform and the Tessitura Arts Enterprise box office system. This integrated solution utilizes the strengths of each service application, resulting in a site that is easy to maintain by non-technical staff members. Staff can utilize industry standard eCommerce and content management tools to provide an optimal experience for Boston Ballet patrons.
The Abrams Books Web site integrated the Able eCommerce application with the Ektron CMS and their pre-existing title management system, the Hachette fulfillment system. The site was designed to take advantage of the company’s rebranding and helps potential readers browse through book selections.
The Davey Awards is an international award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small firms worldwide. They honor the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than large budgets.
