Tihuma Digital Inc. Acquires imedia inc.

Merger Offers Exciting New Services to Existing Tihuma and imedia Customers

Parsippany, NJ – imedia inc., a digital agency specializing in the planning, development, and marketing of Web services, today announced that it has been acquired by Tihuma Digital, Inc., a full service web and mobile development and technical consulting company. The new company will use the trade name imedia inc. and will continue to be based in the imedia offices in Parsippany, NJ. The company will assume all existing client agreements.

The two companies have overlapping service offerings, but each brings something unique to the merger. Both have extensive web design and development experience and are Ektron Content Management Premiere Partners. Tihuma Digital provides mobile custom solutions as well as working with companies to develop and implement social networking and IT strategies. imedia has a deep performing arts portfolio and comprehensive experience in integrating box office software into the web experience.

The new company is owned by the three founders of Tihuma Digital, Joel Macaluso, who will serve as CEO, Chuck Titone, who will be VP, Business Development and COO, and John Huffstutler, who will be VP, Client Services, and CIO.

Before launching Tihuma, Joel Macaluso was the Senior Vice President of Product Development for Zeta Interactive (formally DigitalGrit). While there, Joel built a real-time social media search engine called RelevantNoise and an enterprise-level online marketing management application named InsightGrit. Joel has also served as the Director of Internet Technology for Hanover Direct, a consumer goods catalog company, the CTO of RelevantNoise, and a Managing Consultant of AverCom.

Chuck Titone has 25-years of hands-on professional service, project management, and consulting experience. He served as VP of Web Development for DigitalGrit. Chuck has extensive experience building and managing world-class client services organizations that have generated more than $16 million in revenue annually.

John Huffstutler brings more than 18 years of technical and IT management experience spanning multiple industry verticals. He worked with industry leaders such as EDS, Alliance Capital, CBS Television  and Ventiv Health. Prior to co-founding Tihuma, John was in charge of Global Technical Operations at Zeta Interactive, managing technical teams in the US and India.
