New York’s preferred care destination, AdvantageCare Physicians (ACP) looked to focus on the needs of their patients and providing them with a better online healthcare experience and brand presence.

Case Summary

The Challenge

Healthcare organizations are generally known to be slow adopters to the online technology space. ACP wanted to capitalize on this and provide visitors to their website with the most innovative resources as possible. Understanding that about two-thirds of their users visit using their mobile devices, it was critical for the new website to provide these visitors with easy access to their desired content.

What We Did

  • Created an interactive brand experience that captured the essence and promise of AdvantageCare Physicians while supporting key personas, allowing users to easily search, discover, and engage based on their needs.
  • Optimized the user’s experience through a utility based design by creating a robust search functionality. Giving users the option to find a doctor based off multiple criteria including; by specialty, insurance, and location.
  • iMedia enhanced the experience through a user-centric approach with clear and logical entry points based on user needs making it easy to find a doctor, schedule an appointment, access their Patient Portal or find health and wellness information right from the homepage.
  • Integrating iMedia’s custom built Social Feed Integration tool, ACP now pulls all their social feeds into one hub. This web-part cross-links between the ACP brand and their social channels helping to expand their overall social reach. 
  • Using the Kentico CMS, the site was created to be fully responsive, providing a consistent experience regardless of a user’s device.
