Congratulations to iMedia’s partner, EPiServer, for their recent rating as a Visionary in the 2014 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management. The Gartner Magic Quadrant for WCM is an annual report that assesses the strengths and weaknesses of a variety of WCM vendors in the areas of completeness of vision and ability to execute.
As depicted in the chart below, the report positions EPiServer in a unique position with no nearby products. The progression of EPiServer within the past couple of years have resulted in positive market momentum and the Gartner ratings explain just that.
Some of the highlighted strengths in Gartner’s report were that EPiServer operates in all regions, it is a popular solution for a variety of markets, and how EPiServer has a robust interface with numerous functional capabilities. While Nordic countries represent a bulk of their presence, there has been a steady influx of visibility and partners in North America, the U.K., Western Europe and Asia/Pacific. Gartner goes on to state, “EPiServer is popular in the midmarket, but has long established itself as an enterprise-class vendor and has been making deeper inroads into the retail, media and not-for-profit sectors during the past year.” Additionally, building off their intuitive user interface and functional capabilities, the new “Add-on” features will continue to help customers integrate external systems seamlessly.
As a partner of EPiServer, iMedia has a firsthand experience with the advanced digital marketing and ecommerce solution. iMedia’s Vice President, Client Services, Brian McGovern shares “EPiServer is gaining fast favor with our clients who are gravitating towards its ease of use. They are surprised at how much easier the editorial process is compared to other CMS platforms they have worked with. As developers, EPI’s architecture allows us to build integrations and customizations and a very fast and elegant way. We are really impressed with its power in both a strong Content and Commerce offering.” While Senior Project Manager, Kevin Trainor, explains “The CMS is so quick and easy to use that we’ve noticed a decrease in the time to complete client training and handoff sessions – it’s just simple and just makes sense to the administrators and content editors.” We definitely look forward to our longstanding partnership with EPiServer.
